I grew up in Haledon and currently live in Wanaque, I enjoy the never ending hiking trails and beautiful mountains. You might see me zooming around town on my electric mountain bike.
I started my career as a cost accounting clerk and moved to the transportation department to oversee the scheduling of paper product deliveries throughout New Jersey. Working in accounting developed my ability to be detail orientated when working with budgets.
When the opportunity arose for me to work in education I accepted the challenge. I coordinated transportation for school children in Bergen County. I had the opportunity to be a member of the negotiating team for teacher and support staff contracts. My career expanded to overseeing transportation for upwards of 27 Bergen County districts, this required strong organization skills, the ability to work at a fast pace, and provide superior customer service to get the job done and done right. Anyone who knows me or knows of me will make one statement “Karen will get the job done”. My knowledge in accounting, bid gathering, preparing contracts and negotiations is a gift of knowledge I will give to my clients.
I will bring you the same work ethics whether I am helping you sell or buy a home. Most potential clients work during the day and need Real Estate Agents willing to be available nights and weekends, I am your person, I will answer the phone, I will call you back.
Each client will be guided through the process of listing their home or buying one, I will explain the steps and answer all questions as we move along. There are many steps involved in the real estate process, no question goes unanswered and if needed you will be guided to the proper party to expand on those answers, whether it be a lawyer, home inspector, Mortgage Company, or your local tax office.
Having a great familiarity with the towns of Passaic and Bergen County is a plus for my clients.
