The Borough of Lincoln Park, named for President Abraham Lincoln, is situated on nearly 7 square miles in the easternmost point of Morris County along the Pompton River. As of the 2010 Census, the borough's population was 10,521.
The borough borders Kinnelon, Montville and Pequannock Township in Morris County; Fairfield Township in Essex County; and Wayne in Passaic County.

The Lincoln Park Public Schools are highly rated and serve students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. For ninth through twelfth grades, Lincoln Park public school students attend Boonton High School in Boonton as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Boonton Public Schools.
